JJ Sulin JJ Sulin grew up in Chicago, where his love of photography began at age 10 when he got a camera for Christmas. Combining the mundane, slightly odd and often humorous aspects of life, his photographs form a distinct vision and a unique world. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York. His commercial clients include Mountain Dew, Prudential, UVA, US Cellular, Verizon, Wells Fargo, Proctor & Gamble, Humana, Ameritrade, Direct TV, Gilette, Eli Lilly, Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, Helsinn Healthcare, Genotech, Mallinckrodt, Takeda, Kraft, Air Tran Airways, AT&T, Gatorade, Hard Rock Hotel, Jim Beam, McDonald’s, Miller Beer, Nestle, Purex and the U.S. Army. His offbeat imagery has been featured in editorials for BMW Magazine, Disney, Dwell, Fortune, Guitar World, Metropolitan Home and Tribune Magazine. JJ’s work has been recognized by the Art Director’s Guild, Print Magazine, Archive, Communication Arts and the AIGA 360 Design Annual. JJ's photo book titled "Acey Deucey" was published by Silent Face Projects in 2016. The book includes a foreward by poet Joel Craig and is available at Dashwood Books and Printed Matter in NYC.
